    Location: Kane County, IL (Across Aurora & Elgin Towns)
    Position Type: Full-Time (Flexible Hours)
    Compensation: $35 to $60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience

    Mileage Reimbursement for travel between client locations

    We're currently hiring In-Home Based Mental Health Therapists to deliver therapeutic services directly in the community across Kane County, IL.

    This role is ideal for Bachelor's or Master's level professionals—particularly those gaining clinical experience or working toward licensure—who have a strong foundation in mental health and a passion for working with youth and families.

    You will be doing the following:

    • Provide home-based therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and families experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, and behavioral dysregulation
    • Use strength-based, evidence-informed approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-focused care) under the clinical supervision of licensed therapists
    • Collaborate with families to support emotional regulation, safety planning, and psychoeducation
    • Document services, progress notes, and treatment updates in a timely and accurate manner
    • Communicate regularly with the clinical team and participate in supervision and case consults
    • Respond appropriately to crisis situations with de-escalation and emergency support as needed
    • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain open, respectful communication with peers, leads, and supervisors

    Who You Are

    • You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field
    • You have hands-on experience working with children or families impacted by mental health challenges
    • You bring professionalism, empathy, flexibility, and strong communication to your work
    • You are comfortable taking direction from clinical leads and supervisors and contributing positively to team culture
    • You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (this is a travel-based role)
    • You're comfortable working in diverse home environments and are open to evenings or weekend visits based on client needs

    Additional Details:

    • Comprehensive Training: Full training will be provided to ensure you are prepared to work effectively with our clients.
    • Documentation: All documentation must be completed within 24-48 hours following a session.
    • Clinical Hours: All time spent providing direct client services will be paid.
    • Travel Time: Travel time between client locations is not compensated, though mileage is reimbursed.
