Make a Real Difference Every Day Are you a people-person who thrives on helping others navigate life's challenges? Do you love being the welcoming face that puts someone at ease the moment they walk through the door? If so, we want you on our team. We're looking for a compassionate and organized Intake Specialist to be a vital part of the client services team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for the people we serve — greeting them with warmth, gathering their information, connecting them with the right resources, and making sure no one falls through the cracks. This is more than a desk job — it's a chance to genuinely change lives, one interaction at a time. What We Offer: We believe in taking care of the people who take care of others. Our team enjoys a comprehensive benefits package including: • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • AD&D and disability insurance • 401(k) with employer matching • Paid time off and flexible scheduling • Free parking • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Professional development support and real opportunities for advancement • Travel reimbursement • A supportive, mission-driven workplace culture If you're ready to show up, make an impact, and be the kind of colleague people are grateful for — we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: What You'll Do • Warmly welcome clients in person and over the phone, serving as the friendly face of our organization • Gather and verify client information accurately and efficiently • Assess client needs and help develop thoughtful, individualized action plans • Connect clients with referrals to partner agencies and community services • Support front desk and reception coverage as needed — answering phones, greeting walk-ins, and managing the flow of visitors • Maintain confidential, accurate records of all client interactions • Conduct follow-up calls to check in on clients and ensure their needs are being met • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless, compassionate care Qualifications: What We're Looking For • A warm, approachable communicator who makes people feel heard and respected • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to multitask in a busy, people-centered environment • Comfort with both front-facing client work and administrative tasks • A genuine passion for helping others and connecting people to resources • Prior experience in social services, reception, customer service, or a related field is a plus — but a great attitude goes a long way! Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
