Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Bilingual Inventory Controller Assistant to support our inventory operations in the granite and cabinet division. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate inventory levels of granite slabs, cabinets, hardware, and related materials. This role involves assisting with stock control, tracking shipments, updating records, and ensuring smooth coordination between purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels of granite slabs, cabinets, hardware, sinks, and materials.
Support in conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies with system records.
Help implement and follow inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure accuracy.
Procurement & Ordering:
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding material needs.
Assist with purchase orders, deliveries, and tracking incoming inventory.
Communicate with vendors to confirm shipments and resolve delivery issues.
Tracking & Reporting:
Use inventory management software to record stock movements and transactions.
Generate and maintain basic inventory reports to support decision-making.
Assist in analyzing usage trends and identifying potential shortages.
Warehouse Organization:
Help organize storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
Support compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Quality & Process Support:
Assist in checking materials upon arrival for accuracy and quality.
Report damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a MUST
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of materials used in construction, cabinetry, or countertop fabrication is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
