Hybrid Position (Onsite 4 Days, Remote 1 Day) Benefits: After Probationary Period: • Health Insurance • Dental & Vision Insurance • Paid time off • 401(k) and company match of 4% • Professional development assistance Responsibilities: Client Communication: • Updating clients in Korean • Coordinating communication between the client and the attorney • Gathering necessary information and documents from clients • Translating Korean documents for case managing attorneys • Summarizing case status and informing case strategies in Korean Assisting Attorneys: • Conducting a fact investigation and collecting relevant information to assist in issue identification • Preparing summaries of factual issues • Monitoring legal or regulatory developments • Checking sites and retrieving laws, policies, and regulations • Preparing the shell for legal documents • Preparing and sending letters to the opposing side • Drafting deposition notices, subpoenas, affidavits, and pretrial orders • Coordinating with process servers • Interacting with co-counsel, experts, and court personnel Administrative Duties: • Calculating and calendaring deadlines • Coordinating services for depositions • Arranging witnesses and scheduling depositions • Organizing exhibits and filing pleadings, answers, and motions • Arranging process servers • Assisting with client meetings • Preparing litigation binder for hearings • Keeping the case filing system organized so all pertinent documents are readily accessible • Performing other related duties and activities as required Qualifications: Minimum: • No experience is required, but 1-2 years of experience in administrative work experience is preferred Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Native or fluent in Korean (reading, speaking, and writing) • Excellent time-management and organizational skill • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Experience in construction is a strong plus Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly DOE
