Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (Loa)

Bilingual Mortgage Loan Partner (LP) - Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) Join a High-Performance Mortgage Team We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Loan Partner / LOA to support a top-producing mortgage team. This role requires a calm, solutions-oriented professional who excels in accuracy, communication, and efficient pipeline management. The Loan Partner / LOA will manage files from application through closing, support borrowers and agents with clarity and confidence, and maintain a fast workflow without sacrificing quality. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, understands income calculations, and takes pride in delivering a seamless, 5-star client experience. As a Loan Partner / LOA, you will be the backbone of the loan process. You will manage prequalification, pre-approval, and the active pipeline while collaborating with Loan Officers, borrowers, Realtors, processors, and underwriters. You will play a key role in delivering on-time closings, maintaining accurate files, and strengthening long-term client and partner relationships. This is a professional, detail-oriented role requiring strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to keep a 25+ loan pipeline organized and moving. Must be fully fluent in Spanish and English Responsibilities: Prequalify: • Contact all new borrowers within 24 hours of receiving the application. • Review the 1003 in detail and request supporting documentation to evaluate cash, credit, and capacity. • Conduct a complete income analysis and explore all viable options before declining a borrower. • Keep Realtor partners informed of borrower progress. • Stay current on program guidelines, investor updates, and product changes. • Deliver prequalification decisions within a 4-hour turnaround window. Pre-Approve: • Accurately pre-approve eligible borrowers and clearly communicate approval parameters. • Handle payment scenario requests and provide strategic guidance. • Prepare pre-approval documentation promptly and notify referring agents. • Proactively follow up with pre-approved borrowers to maintain engagement. • Identify potential risks or red flags early for team review. • Dedicate consistent weekly time to partner outreach and borrower follow-up. Pipeline Management: • Onboard new contracts for Rate Lock Consultation and prepare files for processing. • Submit complete loan applications for eDisclosures and monitor all milestones. • Maintain structured communication. • Maintain an on-time closing rate of 95% or higher. • Identify bottlenecks early and drive resolution. • Participate in pipeline meetings. • Review Closing Disclosures for accuracy and ensure all parties are prepared for closing. • Provide post-closing support to enhance client satisfaction. • Be available for urgent questions outside business hours when necessary to keep transactions on track. Qualifications: Qualifications: • Fully fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written. • Minimum of 2 years mortgage experience. • Proven experience in origination, processing, or underwriting. • Strong understanding of guidelines, income analysis, credit, and collateral. • Ability to manage a fast-paced pipeline of 25 or more active loans. • Calm operator who performs well under pressure and maintains accuracy. • Upbeat and solutions-driven personality. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Proficient in MS Office, CRM platforms, MLS, DU, and mortgage-related software. • NMLS license or training is preferred but not required.
