    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Patient Account Manager to join our growing team and help deliver an exceptional experience to our patients. As a Patient Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing patient accounts receivable and supporting front office operations. This position combines account management, scheduling, and clerical responsibilities to ensure accurate financial tracking and smooth daily workflows. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing compassionate, patient-focused service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Account Management:

    • Manage patient accounts receivable, including tracking balances, following up on outstanding payments, and posting payments accurately.
    • Contact patients regarding past due accounts and set up payment arrangements as needed.
    • Provide clear, compassionate communication with patients regarding account statuses, financial obligations, and payment options.
    • Generate financial reports related to patient accounts and accounts receivable as requested.

    Front Desk/Scheduling Support:

    • Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
    • Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments to maintain clinic efficiency and optimize patient flow.
    • Verify patient information, update contact and insurance details, and ensure accurate records.
    • Handle incoming calls and emails, answering patient questions and providing timely follow-up.
    • Support daily office operations by assisting with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
    • Prior experience in patient account management, accounts receivable, or dental/orthodontic billing is strongly preferred.
    • Front desk, scheduling, or customer service experience, preferably in a dental or orthodontic setting.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
    • Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to travel between multiple office locations within Albuquerque
