    Position Summary

    Snelling Staffing is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, screening, and placing qualified candidates in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment while supporting our clients' workforce needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, community outreach, and other sourcing methods.
    • Review resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and career goals.
    • Match candidates with client job opportunities based on experience, skills, and company culture.
    • Coordinate interviews between candidates and client companies.
    • Complete employment verifications, background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks as required.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed job information and coaching.
    • Extend job offers and manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
    • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the employment lifecycle.
    • Follow up with placed employees and clients to ensure successful assignments and high satisfaction.
    • Meet recruiting, placement, and activity goals established by management.
    • Attend networking events, job fairs, and community events to attract top talent.
    • Collaborate with the sales and business development team to understand client hiring needs and staffing priorities.
    • Occasionally inside sales for new business
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple openings and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, skilled trades, or professional positions.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
