Position Overview
We are looking for a hard-working, reliable bilingual installer to join our field crew. This role is hands-on and physically demanding, involving the installation of rubber surfacing systems across a variety of project sites.
This position is heavily travel-based. Installers are almost always working outside of Charlotte and should expect to travel regularly and stay overnight for extended periods of time in different cities and states.
In addition to installation work, this role will serve as a key communicator between English-speaking management and Spanish-speaking crew members, helping ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Work (Primary Role)
Install poured-in-place rubber surfacing systems
Mix and apply rubber materials
Perform detailed finishing work to meet quality standards
Assist with site prep, layout, and clean-up
Communication / Translation
Translate instructions between management and crew members (English ↔ Spanish)
Help ensure all team members understand scope, expectations, and quality standards
Support clear communication on job sites to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Travel & Job Site Work
Travel frequently (often weekly) to job sites across multiple cities and states
Stay overnight for extended periods while working on out-of-town projects
Work long days as needed to complete projects on schedule
Adapt to changing schedules due to weather and job site conditions

Qualifications
Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
Valid driver’s license (required)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to perform physical labor consistently
Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
Construction or installation experience preferred (but not required)

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Per diem ($40/day) for full out-of-town workdays
