Automotive Shop Assistant Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish; Haitian Creole, Portuguese, French, Tagalog, or Vietnamese a plus.

We are hiring a dependable, bilingual Shop Assistant to support our busy auto repair shops. This is a hands-on role for someone who is self-directed, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience and driving record Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Greet customers at the front counter in a friendly, professional manner.

Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.

Process cash and card payments accurately.

Pick up and deliver parts from local vendors.

Shuttle vehicles between nearby locations, when needed.

Assist with shop cleanliness, facilities upkeep, and general organization.

Support daily operations with light administrative and clerical tasks.

Work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision.

Requirements

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Able to drive between multiple nearby locations as needed.

Comfortable staying active throughout the day.

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service, retail, or automotive experience.

Familiarity with auto repair shop operations.

Ability to safely drive a variety of customer vehicles.
