    Bilingual Mental Health Therapist (Spanish Speaking) | LCSW, LCPC, LMFT | Hybrid | Palatine, IL

    Ellie Mental Health – Palatine

    We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) or license-eligible clinician to join our growing outpatient therapy team at Ellie Mental Health in Palatine.

    This clinician must be fluent in both Spanish and English and able to provide therapy in both languages to support the needs of our diverse community.

    Important: Some job boards may list this role as remote. While we offer hybrid flexibility based on client needs, this role is primarily in person at our Palatine office. Clinicians should expect to work at least 70 percent of their time in office.

    Caseload Expectation

    Full-time clinicians maintain a caseload of approximately 25 client sessions per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate mental health diagnoses • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Provide high-quality therapy sessions in Spanish and English when appropriate • Maintain accurate and timely documentation including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to company policy • Maintain a caseload of approximately 25 client sessions per week for full-time clinicians • Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and other care team members when appropriate • Participate in clinical staff meetings, trainings, and consultation • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals • Contribute to a supportive and positive clinic culture • Other meaningful responsibilities that support our clients and our team

    Required Qualifications and Skills

    • Fluent in Spanish and English and able to provide therapy in both languages • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field from an accredited university • Licensed in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) or actively working toward licensure • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English • Ability to demonstrate and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients • Ability to complete documentation in a timely manner • Comfort working with a diverse client population
