We are hiring a talented Tax Professional to join our team.
Team Member Responsibilities
- Verify tax forms to ensure proper submission
- Research and stay up to date with Tax rules, compliance and regulations.
- Proficient in Data Entry
- Proven track record of preparing 50-100 tax returns in pervious seasons. (Beneficial but not necessary)
- understand terms and systems during and after training.
- maintain proper record keeping and necessary notes to remain in compliance with the IRS and Office structure.
Qualifications for Tax Preparer
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing both languages: English and Spanish.
- Drake software experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED is required, college-level courses in accounting preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check. Must be professional and trustworthy because we work with confidential and sensitive information.
- High teachability index for training on federal tax form and IRS guidelines and client handling.
- Experience in researching. For Tax terms and IRS forms, regulations and instructions.
- Ability to focus on daily tasks and meet timely obligations.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills
- Skilled using computer softwares and experience in troubleshooting common computer technical issues.
- Experience in conversational consulting and must be customer services oriented, with a edge in sales.
