    X-Ray Technician / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Urgent Care

    We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technician / CMA to join our fast-paced urgent care team. This dual-role position requires both radiologic imaging expertise and hands-on clinical support to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Radiology (X-Ray Tech Duties):

    Perform digital X-rays as ordered by the provider (extremities, chest, spine, etc.)

    Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols

    Maintain and operate X-ray equipment in compliance with state and federal regulations

    Verify image quality and upload to EMR/PACS systems

    Follow all radiation safety standards and documentation requirements

    Clinical (CMA Duties):

    Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history

    Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments

    Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, etc.)

    Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed

    Perform EKGs, wound care, splinting, and other clinical procedures

    Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and clinical areas

    Front Office / Support (as needed):

    Assist with patient check-in/check-out when needed

    Verify patient information and insurance details

    Support overall clinic flow and patient experience

    Qualifications:

    ARRT certification (or LMRT with X-ray experience per state guidelines)

    Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred

    Current BLS certification

    Urgent care or ER experience strongly preferred

    Strong multitasking and patient care skills

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
