Compensation: $125,000 - $180,000 Annual Salary

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Manager to lead our billing and collections operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes, manage payer relationships, and guide a team to optimise revenue cycle performance and strengthen the organisation’s financial health.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare preferred.
• 5+ years billing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Proficient in PointClickCare (PCC), EOBs, and payor portals.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing.
• Multi-facility or team leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage billing and collections for 14 SNF locations.
• Ensure timely, accurate claim submissions for all payers.
• Monitor aging reports and reduce outstanding A/R balances.
• Verify census and payer updates in PointClickCare (PCC).
• Collaborate with finance and facility teams to resolve billing issues.
• Analyse denials and implement corrective training or actions.
• Ensure compliance with all billing regulations and procedures.
• Prepare billing performance reports for leadership.
• Train and support billing staff to drive accountability and results.
