    Role:

    The mission of MuniBilling Managed Services is to deliver value to managed service customers by serving as the billing operations entity and providing key insights into production effectiveness across all aspects of our clients' utility businesses.

    Billing Operations contributes to Managed Services by:

    Managing the day-to-day production operations to include:

    Processing payments

    Researching reported issues

    Providing resolutions to customers

    Facilitating Change Requests

    Essential Functions:

    Respond to customer emails and calls

    Research customer accounts to resolve billing problems

    Manage corrections to invoices

    Communicate resolutions to clients verbally and via email

    Process customer invoice payments

    Competencies:

    Results-driven

    Excellent communication skills – verbal and email

    Strong emotional intelligence to convey empathy and patience with customers

    Strong attention to detail

    Proficient in reading and manipulating financial information in a spreadsheet

    Confident using standard desktop tools and search engines

    Ability to process payments and read a utility invoice

    Skilled at understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None

    Required Education and Experience:

    Must have experience in customer service supporting various technologies.

    Experience working with standard desktop tools – spreadsheet, word processing

    The capability to multitask and have strong attention to detail

    Experience with administrative support

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    Associate's Degree or at least two years of post-secondary professional training

    Utility Billing experience preferred
