    We are currently looking to grow our team by adding an IT Technician to Billings Tech Guys. This is a growing team environment. This opportunity is to be part of a growing store plan. You will be performing a variety of desktop, server, and networking support activities. This position requires both technical and communication skills professional who wants to support a range of clients with their computer/network maintenance needs in a team environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to set up, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft server and workstation products including visualized environments. Preferred experience includes active directory, user management, and remote support, complex routing, and firewall configuration as well as a firm understanding of backup and disaster recovery principles. Responsibilities: Implement new technology, such as desktops and computer hardware, operating systems, software programs, and applications • Provide customer care support to internal customers in multiple locations • Perform regular maintenance for phone systems, computer systems, computers, printers, network systems, and any other technical equipment • Set up and maintain internal and external networks • Diagnose, resolve, install, and configure: desktop, server, printer, and network hardware • Troubleshoot network performance issues, create and maintain a disaster recovery plan and maintain software updates • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users Qualifications: 2+ years experience in a professional IT setting Solid understanding of troubleshooting Internet connectivity, network systems, phone systems, and other technological equipment in the office Excellent customer service skills and desire to help the company succeed Well-versed in Microsoft Office • TCP/IP knowledge and troubleshooting abilities • Networking, routing, remote, VPN, and firewall configuration • Active Directory configuration • Spyware and virus removal Compensation: $15 - $20 hourly
