About the Role:

Nystrom Publishing Co is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bindery Associate to join our production team in Maple Grove, MN. Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor bindery equipment including folders, cutters, saddle stitchers, and perfect binders

Set up, adjust, and maintain bindery machinery to ensure accurate and efficient production runs

Inspect finished products for quality control, checking for proper alignment, trimming, and binding integrity

Feed, collate, and assemble printed materials according to job specifications

Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets

Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on bindery equipment

Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

Prior experience in a bindery, print finishing, or print production environment preferred

Familiarity with bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and laminators

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment adjustments

Ability to read and follow job tickets and production specifications
