Job Description

• Experience with design and development of plate-based biochemical or cellular assays, using different detection methods (e.g. spectrophotometric, radiometric, colorimetric, fluorescence, etc.)
• Experience with HPLC or HPLC-MS based assay technologies or biophysical techniques and instrumentation (e.g. SPR, DSF, etc.) to measure binding affinity and kinetic parameters
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to advance drug discovery projects in a highly cross-functional environment
• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of all laboratory activities (notebooks, databases).
• Ability to troubleshoot experimental design, assay development and/or data analysis.
• Comfort in operating and overseeing maintenance of selected lab equipment.

Qualifications

• A degree (B.S. or M.S.) in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related discipline with laboratory experience in plate-based assay development and execution.
• Preferred experience with HPLC or HPLC-MS based assay technologies or biophysical techniques such as (SPR, DSF, etc.)
• Highly organized, good communication and interpersonal skills, and strong computer acumen.
• Authorization to work in the United States

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but may vary to meet the assay needs; overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
