    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Business and Financial Analyst will support BRF senior leadership as part of the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), which is a comprehensive plan to solicit and evaluate innovation, new startup businesses, and entrepreneurs. The candidate will be required to produce startup planning, including hands-on project resource planning, developing cost/schedule baselines, and developing investment terms and structure. this position would require the candidate to price modifications to existing work and support pricing for proposals for new work and new customers. Professional experience in dealing with FINRA regulations governing investment risk, taxation, and various equity and debt instruments required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Responsibilities include but not limited to: · Manage the Launch Network, including but not limited to arrange upcoming blogs and update content on the website; maintain relationships with Resource Partners such as the library systems, chambers of commerce, and other economic development organizations in North Louisiana; monitor supply of marketing materials; refer clients to the appropriate Resource Partner based on their business needs · Coordinate with universities to conduct student Pitch Competitions · Assess and screen startup opportunities · Conduct financial analysis and valuations and participate in financial discussions · Build and update financial models · Conduct market- and industry-specific research · Produce business tools that support startup company objectives · Assist in writing project and investment memos for the Investment Advisory Committee and Due Diligence Committee · Lead investment term development · Interact and assist in managing startup deal flow · Evaluate contract vehicles and legal contracts Travel Requirement - 20% or less

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate should have a master’s degree in business administration, finance, or any other related business field. Minimum 5-7 years of work experience at the analyst level in project finance or related corporate finance field.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    This position requires a diverse skill set including, but not limited to knowledge of corporate finance and accounting. Strong financial modeling skills/very comfortable building and manipulating Excel models. Experience building pitch decks with PowerPoint. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and acute attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
