Title: Systems Engineer

Reports to: Director of Systems R&D

Location:*MA/NH Line

**Overview:** The Systems Engineer is a principal contributor to the development of new systems products. This is an opportunity to specify and develop solutions in sensing, heat and sound management, and enclosure designs and will work in a team with Marketing, Quality, Regulatory and Production resources and support new product development from concept to transfer into the full production. Activities include: development of solutions through bench-level experimentation, creation of product and component-level specifications, development of verification methodologies and management of verification activities, management of external sub-system development and compliance-test resources. A background in electrical engineering is a plus, and ideally this person has 2-3 years of systems experience.

 Skills & Experience & Education:

*BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or BME

*Minimum 3 years of experience; (strong internship experience will be considered) Creative problem solver, able to apply analytical and intuitive skills

*Comfortable working through problems on the bench

*Have experience with design and development of electromechanical systems. Strong oral and written communication skills

*Medical device design experience is a plus

*Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 is a plus

*Experience with Altium designer or PADS PCB is a plus
