    Location: Metro-West Boston

    Position: Scientist/Associate Scientist (Bioconjugation)

Short description: You will optimize and execute our bioconjugation pipeline for reagents being used in the company assay, as well as assist with antibody qualification efforts.

    What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have completed a BS or MS in Biology, Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar program, with at least three years of bioconjugation experience. The candidate is expected to be fluent in standard bioconjugation chemistries and have extensive experience with both solid-phase and solution-phase reactions. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be proficient in antibody purification techniques, bioanalytical techniques (e.g., UV/Vis, BCA), PCR, immunoassays (e.g., WB, ELISA), and gel electrophoresis. Experience with HPLC is desirable.

How will you grow with us?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a young, fast-paced biotech company. You will have the opportunity to optimize our bioconjugation pipeline, innovate, and contribute to new intellectual property. You will gain experience in running studies with our academic collaborators and ultimately participate in running large clinical trials. As the company grows and our assay becomes adopted, there would be additional opportunities for setting up, developing, and working in a CLIA laboratory, as well as in the development of additional early cancer diagnosis assays. Given the size of our company, every individual is vitally important, and everyone has the opportunity to guide and shape our company’s future.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a small but highly motivated team of scientists to develop tests for early, non-invasive cancer diagnosis.
