    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Biomerics is the contract manufacturing and product development partner for many of the world's top medical device companies, offering candidates a breadth of opportunity in a variety of product markets. The OUTSIDE SALES MANAGER is responsible for driving revenue growth and will manage ongoing customer sales, develop new business opportunities, build customer relationships. You will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Sales Team as well as Biomerics Leadership to characterize new opportunities, evaluate potential deal structures and terms, and develop actionable recommendations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • SEVEN OR MORE YEARS of leadership in OEM MEDICAL DEVICE SALES, MARKETING, OR FIELD ENGINEERING experience with account management experience and knowledge of the OEM MEDICAL DEVICE MARKET. (REQUIRED)
    • Proven sales leader with experience in driving revenue and growth in the MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY. (REQUIRED)
    • Experience working in both large structured and small entrepreneurial MEDICAL DEVICE ORGANIZATIONS.
    • Capable of working effectively in both environments and possess the flexibility in reacting to new situations and adaptability for working in a new environment.
    • Experience and general knowledge of the MEDICAL DEVICE COMMUNITY and the ability to recognize unmet needs in the MEDICAL DEVICE FIELD and to bring those needs into business opportunities for the company. (REQUIRED)
    • Experience in strategic planning and execution
    • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
    • Skill in examining and re-engineering MEDICAL DEVICE sales operations and procedures
    • Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new sales strategies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
    • Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques
    • Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations
    • Ability to identify and secure funding and revenue sources
    • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with all departments
    • Ability to motivate sales teams and simultaneously manage several projects
    • Basic knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and MDD for MEDICAL DEVICE MANUFACTURING_. (REQUIRED)_
    • Comfortable with the FDA and international regulatory processes
    • Proven presence which commands the respect and trust of customers, vendors, sales reps, and employees at all levels in the organization
    • Self-starter; a "hands-on" individual who enjoys the challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with minimal support and direction
    • Requires willingness to work a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL, and may require frequent weekend and evening work as well as require frequent overnight travel (REQUIRED)
    • Experience in PTA CATHETER AND/OR ENDOUROLOGY MARKETS is HIGHLY PREFERRED

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Manage a portfolio of customers/accounts as well as a geographical territory to achieve revenue growth targets.
    • Manage quotations, quotation tracking, and follow-up activities.
    • Manage new inquiries from the website and other marketing/sales channels.
    • Manage pricing and price changes with customers.
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers in various functions such as supply chain, purchasing, engineering, and quality.
    • Position products and services with target customers to identify and implement new growth projects.
    • Gather and analyze competitive information in the marketplace and identify areas of opportunity.
    • Maintain accurate records of all customer contacts, business information, and sales activity.
    • Build and maintain a strong collaborative and productive relationship with an internal cross-functional team including marketing, operations, customer service, engineering, and finance.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, programs, services, policies, and procedures.
