Description:
We are actively hiring a Crime Scene Cleanup Supervisor to lead the cleaning and remediation of environments contaminated by events such as suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, hoarding, accidents, and similar situations. Prestige Worldwide Ind Corp. dba Biorecovery is a leading national provider of biohazard remediation and cleaning services. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassion, we assist individuals and communities in recovering from traumatic incidents.
As a Crime Scene Cleanup Supervisor you’ll be hands-on and responsible for leading the on-site team, and managing the cleanup project to ensure it is completed safely and to the customer’s satisfaction. You’ll frequently interact with customers that are experiencing the loss of a loved one or other difficult situations, so you’ll need to be patient, professional, compassionate, and kind.
Safety is our top priority, so we’ll develop and train you on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup procedures, and customer service. We require previous supervisory experience, but biohazard remediation experience is not necessarily required. If you are hard-working and willing to travel to the scene of these emergencies, join us and be a part of our mission to serve others in their time of need.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the on-site cleanup team to ensure the cleanup is accomplished safely and completely
Manage all customer interactions with compassion and professionalism
Be on call 24/7 to be dispatched to emergencies whenever they arise
Be flexible with multi-day travel to neighboring states if required
Document and photograph work before and after remediation
Properly dispose of biohazardous waste according to regulations and company protocols
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times
Provide ongoing safety and compliance training to your team members
Maintain equipment and supplies in excellent condition
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience of at least two years
Background in remediation, construction, demolition, handyman, housecleaning, or experience using hand or power tools is a huge plus
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (no DUI/DWIs)
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of biohazard containment, cleanup, and disposal procedures is preferred
Knowledge of safety protocols and proper use of PPE is preferred
Be able to see and smell unpleasant contaminants without feeling sick or upset
Ability to lift up to 50lbs is preferred
