Electrical Engineering Intern BioTelemetry 19 reviews - San Diego, CA Temporary, Internship Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern Department: BioTelemetry Technology / Hardware Engineering Reports to: Director, Hardware Engineering SUMMARY We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern (project) who will be responsible for creating, approving, and releasing parts to the global product lifecycle management (PLM) database and eCAD library for use in printed circuit board (PCB) designs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Create and manage parts and associated attributes in the companys product lifecycle management (PLM) database. * Work closely with Electrical Engineers to create schematic symbols, PCB component footprints, SPICE simulation models, and 3D component models. * Publish library parts to the global eCAD library within established standards for use across the organization. * Perform these tasks under minimal supervision. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS * 2 or 3 years completed towards a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. * Ability to interpret electronic component manufacturer datasheets and specifications. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency using personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
