Job Description
Birst Technology Apprentice role is specifically meant for people who are under-represented in technology community in the bay area to encourage and support them in switching to a technology career.
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:
- Minimum high-school education but preferably some college degree (doesn't have to be STEM related)
- Some relevant technology experience desired either through previous jobs, internships or technology boot-camps. It also includes people who took a significant hiatus from a technology career and now looking to make a come back.
- An onsite interview with our Engineering team in San Francisco
- Ability to work for any employer in USA without requiring a work authorization or visa sponsorship.
DETAILS:
- This program will run for 4 months
- We will hire a maximum of 3 apprentices offering hourly compensation similar to what we typically offer our interns
- Each apprentice is assigned a mentor and a home team.
- Apprentice works on real projects as part of their team under guidance of their mentor.
- Mentor, team and team’s manager provides continuous feedback and opportunities to the apprentice to learn and hone on skills.
- On successful completion of the program, we may extend the apprentice an offer for a full-time role at Infor, in case we have open positions available.
