    BISH ENTERPRISES / HEMP HARVEST WORKS is seeking a Seasonal SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT to join our team!

    HEMP HARVEST WORKS is an industry-leading equipment sales company working in the burgeoning Hemp Industry. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in agriculture, especially in emerging agricultural markets.

    PURPOSE:

    The main purpose of this job is to assist the Sales Manager with day-to-day responsibilities. This person will help to develop strategies to improve sales, effectively handle customer follow-up, and follow-up on other sales and operational tasks. This role will also require marketing via web, social media, as well as other formats while identifying marketing opportunities. This role will require a level of delegation and be able to delegate &/or follow-up with tasks related to the sales team in the absence of the Sales Manager.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist sales manager and executive team with content development for print media, social media, web media, and other forms of media.
    • Assist in contacting customers to verify order details, including measurements, field condition details, and other misc. equipment details
    • Assist in accurately filling out customer qualification forms
    • Assist directly with packaging and sending shipments (as needed/requested). This includes packaging, and all tasks related to logistics
    • Answer customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
    • Collaborates effectively with others for the success of the department; promotes a free flow of information & ideas across departments
    • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
    • Assist with coordinating and/or following up with sales activities
    • Documenting/Recording Information (Maintain operational records, Prepare forms or applications)
    • Exhibits a positive attitude. Promotes superior customer service.
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
    • Assist with planning, presenting, and/or facilitating sales presentations and meetings
    • Report discrepancies that have been observed and assist with substantial solutions
    • Read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales
    • Regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proficient ability to interact with computer systems, including CRM platforms, internet-based applications, Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Outlook, as well as have experience with content creation software (photography, videography, etc.)
    • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken; Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
    • Ability to work extended hours during the week and on weekends as deadlines or customer circumstance require
    • Ability to work well in a high-pressure, demanding environment
    • Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver’s license, and ability to operate a motor vehicle
    • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience in sales, advertisement, or other related fields
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    JOB TYPE:

    • Full Time
    • Compensation- Hourly Position $11.00 - $16.00

    HOURS/WORK WEEK:

    • 36-44 hours
    • Hours will be mostly during these times:
      • Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (Exact hours are negotiable and based on business needs)
      • Saturday – as needed
      • Customer Deadlines and Agriculture Seasonality may require additional availability
      • Some aspects of this job can be done remotely, and working outside of the office will be required from time to time
