    We are looking for a Production Manager to join the Bishop Arts Theatre in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all activities related to our performances. As Production Manager, you will be a team-player and be expected to develop and implement cost-effective production processes that result in meeting quality, delivery, and budget objectives. Responsibilities: • Create load-in and strike schedules, tracking production expenditures, season planning and in scheduling and coordination of Production Meetings • Oversee the technical needs for facility rentals (opportunity for additional income to be paid separately renters) • Supervise maintenance of the Bishop Arts Theatre including production, rentals, and special events • Provide watch person staff with weekly schedule. Schedule additional watch person staff as needed for large events • Assist AAP in running auditions and callbacks • Attend weekly staff meetings to plan upcoming production needs as well as supporting other departments as needed • Coordinate and attend tech rehearsals • Assist Associate Artistic Producer with season planning and scheduling • Help with the mentoring of Production Apprentices and the youth technicians for TNT (Teens In Theatre) program • This position will also serve as the lighting design for 2 shows during the theatre season & lighting board operator for all jazz series season performances • Manage the upkeep of the Bishop Arts Theatre Center • Alongside the Education Director and Academy Manger, plan, schedule, and manage all Education events and productions. This includes providing assistance with Academy shows and class performances. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • BFA or BA in technical theater, events management, or equivalent professional experience • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal • Good time management skills • The ability to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment • Ability to remain centered and respectful during sensitive situations, guiding teams to consensus in a holistic manner • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Drive • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required • Weekend and evening work required Compensation: $45,000
