BITS is a growing software development company in Washington DC area. We provide database solutions, application development, and high-end computing using innovative technologies to the health agencies. We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer for one of our HHS projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SR. JAVA DEVELOPER

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

2. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and implementing, developing, and testing Java applications building from scratch.

3. 8-12 Yrs of development experience using Spring Framework 4.x/5.x (Core, Security, Data and MVC) and JEE/J2EE technologies.

4. Experience in coding in Java 8 or higher. Strong capabilities in building REST APIs.

5. Experience in Hibernate, Mybatis, or iBatis is a plus

6. Experience in developing applications using Angular is a plus.

7. Experience in building micro services using Spring boot 2.x and higher.

8. Solid understanding of core SQL principles and RDBMS with a focus on Oracle.

9. Ability to use GIT, Docker and AWS

Preferred skills:-Java, Spring REST API, Angular.
