    Bite Squad is looking for a Talent Operations Partner to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior business leaders and the broader Human Resources team to effectively design, develop and implement strategies, programs, systems, and tools to ensure the organization has the people and talent capability it needs to execute its strategy and growth plans.

    As a key member of the human resources team you will be responsible for developing and driving the sourcing and recruiting strategy to support strong business growth, and build diverse talent pipelines at all levels. Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers in supporting the identification and hiring of ideal candidates, ensuring the hiring process is smooth and effective.

    This role will build, strengthen and further define the diversity, equity and inclusion strategy across our organization.

    About Waitr Holdings Inc. Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr is a leader in on-demand food ordering and delivery. Waitr, along with Bite Squad connect local restaurants to hungry diners in underserved U.S. markets. Together they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of June 30, 2020, Waitr and Bite Squad operated in small and medium sized markets in the United States in over 600 cities. Essential Functions

    • Centrally design and lead appropriate organizational talent strategies, programs, and process for all stages of the employee life cycle; manage the hiring, retention, and talent management processes 
    • Partner with HR leaders and business leaders to ensure alignment with respect to establishing a talent philosophy, strategy and programs, and seamless flow of talent into and through the organization through programs and processes
    • Leads, directs, coaches and guides leaders in identifying, prioritizing and building talent strategies & processes
    • Participates in the development of the Company's strategic plans and identifies employee experience opportunities and translates them into HR people strategies
    • Oversees talent management, including staff training and leadership development, retention, recognition, employee communication and career development
    • Evaluate potential new tools and technologies, manage RFP processes, full lifecycle vendor management, and measure effectiveness of tools over time (ROI)
    • Work closely with key business stakeholders and partners including business leaders, HR, Finance, Legal, etc. to coordinate on creative strategies, best practices and compliance
    • Create, implement and drive adoption of relevant, scalable and compliant recruitment policies and practices.
    • Develop strong employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies 
    • Conceptualize and deliver recruiting metrics and dashboards for both the organization and business leaders to support accountability and transparency in all recruitment processes
    • Lead the recruiting efforts to implement creative solutions to improve hiring processes and hire key talent quickly and efficiently.
    • Ensure the team is effectively driving the hiring process for all roles. Pinpoint and help to remove any obstacles to recruiting progress. 
    • Partner with the leadership team to set the direction, manage and coordinate the diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.
    • Partner with key HR and business leaders to effectively embed Diversity and Inclusion practices into every aspect of the employee experience.
    • Develop and foster strong relationships/partnerships with leaders across the organization. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THESE STANDARD FUNCTIONS WILL BE TEMPORARILY ADJUSTED TO ENABLE FOR REMOTE WORK. MOST OF THESE FUNCTIONS WILL BE DONE FROM A HOME OFFICE SETTING FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A TELEPHONE/CELL PHONE AND RELIABLE INTERNET ACCESS.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology or similar field
    • 7+ years of talent management, full cycle recruiting experience or similar experience preferred.
    • Deep understanding of recruiting systems and platforms and how to achieve full optimization and adoption of our systems
    • Must be “hands-on,” able to hit the ground running and be proactive and visible within the company.
    • Must be an outstanding leader, able to cultivate relationships, build trust and provide timely execution and top quality services.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Applicant Tracking System administration
    • Metrics creation and management 
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
