    We are looking for an energetic, experienced, resourceful, and dynamic HR Generalist to help cultivate our culture and strengthen our human capital strategy and administrative processes.

    This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, orientation, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. This role requires a hands-on enthusiastic hardworking professional who wants to roll-up their sleeves and help drive our people operations to the next level!

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

    • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
    • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Maintains employee personnel files.
    • Develops and files EEO-1 reports annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
    • Assists in handling employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
    • Acts as an employee relations specialist.
    • Respond to inquiries from employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Coordinate with managers to prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
    • Consult regarding personnel issues requiring legal counsel.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the employee handbook and policies and procedures manuals.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Accurately and timely maintenance of the OSHA 300 log
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Lead HR internal audits, as requested.
    • Collaborate with fellow HR teammates to develop HR programs, including diversity initiatives and award programs.
    • Assists with the administration of Workers' Compensation program ensuring all state registrations are kept up to date.
    • Establish and maintain accurate work compensation records and respond to administrative requests for files, payroll reports, and other work compensation related records.
    • Partner with the Unemployment third party administrator to ensure accurate processing of claims in a timely manner. Maintain registration and UI accounts up to date.
    • Manages the onboarding/offboarding process and is responsible for ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and maintained properly.
    • Maintain HRIS, personnel records & employee files.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
    • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience or similar experience preferred.
    • Exceptional customer focus with strong professional acumen
    • Google Suite features
    • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees and members of the HR management team.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Ultimate software experience 
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    TRAVEL Very limited travel possible if business needs arise.
