THE COMPANY
Playgon Interactive Inc. is a producer of video-streamed Live Casino solutions, delivering premium, live dealer table gaming to gaming brands worldwide and is establishing its first North American broadcast studio in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The live dealer gaming content will be streamed as to licensees’ players preferred digital devices to play live casino games online at real tables and with real dealers.
Playgon Interactive Inc. will contract affable and captivating personalities as game presenters combined with other entertainment and special events to produce the most unique product in the online Live Casino space.
Our state-of-the-art live broadcast studio, located in the heart of Las Vegas, is equipped with authentic casino tables and gaming equipment, policies and procedures are similar to a traditional casino with some modifications to suit the virtual environment.
ROLE SUMMARY
This is a senior, management role in an established organization with certain tech start-up characteristics. Upon becoming a team member, you will be working closely with senior management at our headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the successful management of all areas in the department including Recruiting, Onboarding, Team Member Relations, Training and Benefits.
You will receive your own dedicated private office to interview future candidates, maintain payroll and staff benefits for approximately 80+ employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit new hires, maintain benefits and payroll, mediate conflict and engage in training and development
- Organize and conduct interviews with candidates together with senior leadership, hire and onboard new staff
- Develop strong relationships with senior leadership to help drive and influence recruitment results
- Ensure hiring needs are met with quality hires in a timely and cost-effective manner while delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers
- Prepare recruitment advertising, effectively utilizing the appropriate advertising mediums to include print, radio, internet, social media, etc.
- Prepare employment contracts, addendums, training contracts and other documents, and internal regulations, including non-standard situations
- Prepare reports that include HR information, according to the manager requests
- Develop proposals for job productivity and efficiency increase
- Create and organize employee’s personal files
- Register new employees and staff with employment body as well as on internal systems.
- Register employee events (additional vacation days, supplements, etc.) and regularly update all personnel events
- Manage attendance point system
- Prepare notices to employees about employment, salary, taxes and other information to the labor relations issues
- Prepare documents for employment termination and collect employee Exit Check Lists
- Create employee ID numbers and keep the records
- Review issues related to employee disciplinary measures and advising managers
- Perform other duties, as asked by senior management, which are related to this position, and which meet the qualifications
- Maintains thorough knowledge of the Live Dealer Casino gaming market and implements initiatives to assist in growing the market share.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field plus 3 years of recruitment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in sourcing and recruiting in the gaming or hospitality industry
- Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional travel to satellite offices may be required.
- This is a 24/7 operation and all personnel, including management, are expected to adjust work hours to the needs of the business.
- In this deadline-driven role, the successful candidate may sometimes need to put in extra hours.
