Software Development Internship at Bizly

Bizly makes it easy to design impactful events beginning-to-end, with all the analytics to measure impact.  We're looking for an engineering intern with strong technical proficiency, detail-oriented and meticulous, operates with a sense of urgency, and has a deeply analytical mindset.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Quality assurance (QA) responsibilities across our web applications
• Support our engineering team with developing web applications 
• Support our content team with web scraping and integration projects 
• Stay abreast of the latest industry happening to identify market trends, recommend solutions, provide feedback, and solve problems.
• Work independently, learn quickly, and manage multiple competing priorities, but escalating as quickly as needed when blocked.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Software Development, preferably in a startup environment or a fast-paced organization.
• Experience with development frameworks which may include Javascript, PHP, and Python.
• Experience with latest HTML and CSS web standards.
• Experience developing for both mobile and desktop environments.
• Experience with Git / BitBucket / Github environments
