  • Responsibilities

    Black Kite is seeking driven and passionate Pre-sales engineers (SEs). The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual, capable of delving into solution development and product positioning. Sales Engineers are able to articulate our technology and solution positioning to both business and technical users.The SE partners closely with Account Executives, leverages technical expertise and knowledge of the solution benefits and the market, and ensures customer satisfaction through the sales cycle.

    REPORTS TO: Director of Pre Sales & Engineering

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan and manage product POCs, RFIs/RFPs

    • Communicate partner and product requirements to the CTO

    • Ability to travel and provide onsite support for sales with customers

    • Collaborate with Product team stakeholders to develop and prioritize Product roadmap

    • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services

    • Support and participate in performing advanced technical presentations for customers, and prospects, both remotely and in-person.

    • Represent Black Kite at conferences, industry, and sales events

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • 3-5 years SaaS experience 

    • 2+ years of Cybersecurity experience; third party risk or vendor risk management is a plus

    • Flexible schedule to accommodate global hours, with set day for international hours

    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

    • Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite is a plus

    • Ability to comprehend and discuss a range of cybersecurity concepts and best practices with prospective partners and clients

    • Proven ability to provide technical management to the sales team and external clients

    • Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity

    • Demonstrates the ability to excel at understanding and communicating complex technical solutions and issues.

    • Familiarity with APIs and product integrations 

    • Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel from SMEs to top execs
