    TITLE: Excavation Foreman

    Summary of Position:

    Reporting to the Superintendent Foreman is responsible to oversee and coordinate the activities of Operators, Pipelayers, Laborers, etc.

    **Duties & Responsibilities **

    • Enforces all company health, safety, and environment policies and procedures
    • Work hands on with crews daily
    • Supervises and works with several crews of employees and prioritizes work accordingly
    • Fulfils all assigned construction job duties, including project layout, timelines, and completes necessary paperwork
    • Interprets and follows plans, material lists and guidelines
    • Oversees timesheets and related project paperwork from subordinate staff, approving daily timecards of Foreman directly under his supervision.
    • Directly responsible for productivity of crews and employees
    • Build Team members – oversee and provide necessary field training of all crew members
    • Conducts toolbox meetings as required to review overall operations
    • Completes work according to SAFETY, SCHEDULE, SPECIFICATIONS, and BUDGET

    Education & Skill Requirements

    • 3-4 years construction experience- knowledge of all excavation machines and competency to operate
    • Knowledgable in building materials and systems
    • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
