    The Accounts Payable Assistant is located in Kansas City, MO and typically reports directly to the Controller. This role in conjunction with the  Controller will execute projects in accordance with Corporate Policy. 

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assist AP with voucher processing, issuing payments, document retention/management
    • Month end closing and reconciliation
    • Daily cash reconciliation
    • Build and maintain  supplier/vendor relationships
    • Other administrative duties as assigned

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or secondary education preferred

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable
    • Experience with JDEdwards or equivalent software preferred
    • Experience in high volume invoice processing
    • Working knowledge in Excel
    • Strong interpersonal skills, displaying superior verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management and organization skills
