Social Content Marketing Specialist

General Summary

We seek a Social Content Marketing Specialist to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness, and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective content marketing campaigns.

Essential Job Functions

Email / Phone / Social Analytics

Social content posting organization and strategies to popular social media networks (FB, IG, X, TikTok, etc)

Monitor industry activity to alert the staff to popular trends online

Understand the company's target market to develop promotion strategies.

Conducts other duties as needed with guidance from the Sales & Marketing department.

Demands strong writing skills and the ability to create compelling news pitches for social posts & media.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must be proficient in caption writing & social media platforms.

Must have knowledge of social media analytical platforms (e.g. Hootsuite/Sprout Social)

Must have excellent verbal and written skills (including proofreading).

Must have excellent social and communications skills.

Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Must be self-motivated and work well both supervised and unsupervised.

Work in a team environment with passion and aptitude for creativity.

Must meet deadlines.

Must be comfortable using various types of technology.

Physical Requirements

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to use a computer for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Hearing: Must communicate with guests, vendors, and staff members.

Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel.

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up, pull or push up to 50lbs.

Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.

Work Conditions May Include a smoky environment, working evening/night shifts, or working outside in various weather conditions.
