Job Description
We are looking for an UX/UI Architect, you will work with a team of software development professionals to design, develop, improve and test the user interface of our software. You will provide mentorship and guidance to other developers to ensure consistency in our user experience. You will analyze the behaviors and patterns of users to improve overall functionality.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- (5+) years of design experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar design-related role.
- Solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; able to present a strong rationale for design decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Experience using data to influence product managers, design leadership, and engineering leadership on design solutions.
- Track record of delivering effective design solutions. Yes
- Create innovative product designs in collaboration with product managers/owners and developers
- Understand product requirements and user psychology and predict what might work for both
- Illustrate design ideas with storyboards, wireframe, flow diagram, when necessary
- Participate in development of proposed solutions by leveraging his/her knowledge of web and native frameworks
- Provide documented UX and UI guideline for the team to follow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating a range of design solutions.
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Architect or similar role
- Ability to show a portfolio of projects where the candidate's contribution was significant
- Proven experience with web frameworks like React and Angular
- Proven experience in building native mobile app experience, in iOS or Android, preferably both
- Self-starter that is outcome driven
- Knowledge of wireframe tools like Balsamiq
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Thrives on input and feedback
- Demonstratable knowledge of Material Design
