    BlackTree was founded in July of 2011 with the goal of providing client-centric services to the home care, hospice and skilled nursing industries.     Additionally, in order to provide our clients with an opportunity to focus on core operations, BlackTree provides outsourcing services for Coding and OASIS reviews, Billing and Collections, and full Revenue Cycle services. BlackTree has worked with over 400 clients, ranging from small, community-based agencies to publicly traded national chains. We have both the technical expertise and the real-world experience to implement seamless solutions that assist agencies in a rapidly changing operational and regulatory environment.

    JOB OVERVIEW

    Our primary focus is the provision of back office support services primarily to post-acute providers, mostly comprised of Homecare and Hospice agencies as well as Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our Revenue Cycle Associate II position is a senior associate level position within BlackTree Healthcare Consulting that acts as the front-line support for our Outsourced Revenue Cycle engagements.

    Each Revenue Cycle Associate II will report to a Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Outsourcing and/or Manager of Revenue Cycle Outsourcing. This position is eligible to work in our King of Prussia, PA office or remotely.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Revenue Cycle Associate II will be expected to maintain levels of quality and productivity exceeding that of the level Revenue Cycle Associate I position, and in addition may handle:

    • Monitoring electronic submission
    • Paper claim submission
    • Denied claim follow-up and management of insurance A/R
      • Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payors accounts
    • Achieves pre-established goals related to workflow, work quality, work quantity, transactions, processes and compliance requirements
    • Verification of new patient insurance eligibility and benefits
    • Obtaining visit authorization
    • Payment posting
    • Answering patient billing questions and concerns
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the project team

    REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Interested candidates should have an outstanding intellectual capability, maturity and judgment. Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
    • Experience with home health/hospice/skilled nursing EMR systems a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and an aggressive approach to excellence
    • Provide excellent customer service to peers, management and clients at all times
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, initiative to problem solve
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
