Under the direction of the Chief Growth & Market Officer, the Physician and Market Liaison is responsible for forming, growing, and maintaining long-term partnerships with physicians, schools, and community organizations to increase Blackbird Health visibility, referrals and market share. The Liaison and Chief Growth & Market Officer will work together to implement sales and marketing strategies that ultimately drive volume through measurable relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and sustains referral partnerships with pediatricians and their staff in the Eastern Pennsylvania region (North of Philadelphia up to the Lehigh Valley) to drive referral volume, enhance partnership loyalty and exceed satisfactory experience with Blackbird Health
- Communicates opportunities to the CGMO to assist in the development of strategic objectives to improve patient volume
- Conducts phone calls and in-person visits with physicians and clinical staff as appropriate to secure business
- Proactively identifies potential opportunities to build relationships with pediatricians
- Meets with current practitioner partners to determine how to improve relationships with our providers
- Working alongside the Physician Relationship Managers and their corresponding departments to ensure the company is meeting practitioners’ expectations
- Collaborates with the various Blackbird Health leaders in reviewing company policies and procedures to ensure pediatricians and their clients receive maximum satisfaction from our care
- Assists in the delivery and presentation of specialty marketing materials to address prospective clinical partnership needs
- Provides education to pediatricians on Blackbird’s integrated model of care and how it will best serve their current and growing needs; this includes detailing the clinical capabilities of Blackbird Health and the operational processes for referrals
- Works closely with the CGMO to discuss market activities, identify new business opportunities and potential challenges
- Recommends ways to improve client satisfaction using feedback from pediatricians and their staff
- Partners with Blackbird’s analytics and reporting team to provide updates to Pediatric practices on key operational and clinical metrics
- Ability to grow physician referrals and connect our facility with the local healthcare community
- Serves as a resource to answer questions from pediatricians and their staff
- Partners with Blackbird clinical staff on status updates of patients and communicates to the corresponding pediatric partner as needed
- Acts as a liaison between physicians and Blackbird clinicians to address complaints and resolve issues promptly, in order to maintain a positive working relationship
- Prepares and distributes informational materials and communications necessary to promote and uphold relationships with pediatricians
- Other duties may apply as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or customer service; preferably working with physicians or other healthcare professionals
- The combination of courageousness to convey the value of a unique approach to care with the competitiveness to win new relationships
- A pronounced intellectual depth required to build trust with sophisticated medical and community leaders
- A demonstrated track record of being able to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
- Flexibility to work some evenings and/or weekends
- Exemplary attention to detail, clinical/medical acumen and excellent problem solving ability
- A valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle for transportation
- Remote opportunity with a travel component; willingness to travel to multiple sites on a weekly/daily basis
- The ideal candidate resides within the Montgomery County area
