Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
As an Account Manager with Blackwell Professional Support Services, Inc., you will work in collaboration with Blackwell Main Office to manage a client account and the employees associated with them. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the corporate client, community staff, and Blackwell staff remain current and competent in systems, policies and processes required for their roles. The position reports directly to the District Manager. Additional duties are outlined below:
· Directly manage the “Lead” employees and their staff at your account
· Directly manage the “Flex Officer” employees for your account
· Ensure employees are following daily operation requirements, policies, and procedures as expected by the client
· Ensure compliance with all Blackwell regulations, policies, and employee handbook
· Execute planning, organizing, staffing, and training of the security team contractors
· Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed
· Ensure accurate timesheets are submitted by given deadline each payroll cycle
· Manage overtime hours
· Visit with clients along with sales professionals to aid in driving organic growth
· Assist the main office with recruitment efforts to adequately staff teams
· Provide account maintenance and foster ongoing relationships
· Act as Rapid Responder on emergency basis
· Resolve escalated customer and/or employee issues, provide counseling to associates as needed with guidance and direction from senior leadership and Human Resources
· Provide written recaps to District Manager on a weekly basis
· Complete routine inspections and provide on-the-spot coaching as needed
· Have a complete and thorough understanding of the Lead Concierge and Security Officer roles
· Exercise direct supervision and guard force management over all contract personnel assigned to the client contract
· Deliver efficient work procedures, work schedules and workflow
· Acts as liaison between entities to ensure a secure environment for employees, tenants, visitors, and guests
· Provide support during all emergency related events such as medical, fire, violence and crisis notifications
· Ensures maintenance of all electronic and written work logs pertaining to visitor check-in, temporary credentialing and asset management
· Respond to and document calls for service according to established procedure.
· Operate applicable security systems and devices
· Carry out other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field
· 2+ years management experience (security, concierge, and/or hospitality experience preferred)
· Experience managing remote locations
· Excellent leadership, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills
· Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate in a clear, accurate, efficient and professional manner in written and verbal communications, as well as possess strong presentation skills
· Must have the ability to adapt quickly to change, remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, and to work well with many interruptions and have skill in multi-tasking
· Must exhibit and promote a high level of integrity, customer service, hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all residents, visitors, employees, and the overall organization
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with the ability and willingness to adopt new software applications quickly
· Ability to obtain and maintain an armed security license from the governing jurisdiction. This includes passing a county mandated drug test and weapons qualification course.
· Must have valid state operator’s license in good standing with minimal Department of Revenue (DMV) infraction history
· Pass applicable background check conducted by Employer
