Regional Operations Recruiter
Position Summary:
Blake’s is looking for a regional operations recruiter to provide our restaurants both strategic and tactical recruiting and hiring support. You will partner with Operations leadership (Regional Managers, District Managers, and General Managers) on a regular basis to ensure all restaurants all fully staffed with both crew members and managers
Essential Functions:
Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
Follow the defined recruiting and interviewing process for each open position
Create and maintain job postings to target the most qualified candidates
Develop and maintain job descriptions for internal position changes with managing supervisors, follow-up as necessary to ensure job descriptions meet the needs of the position
Develop and execute strategic initiatives for sourcing and recruiting diverse talent
Maintain and update candidates within applicant tracking system
Create and implement employment strategies to attract passive job seekers
Actively network and build a pipeline of potential future hires
Conduct regular follow-up meetings with hiring supervisors to determine the effectiveness of candidates
Ensure all appropriate candidate checks are thorough, including but not limited to, background check and reference checks. Ownership of crew level background adverse action process.
Partner with others on employment campaign and creative special event recruiting to meet business needs in acquiring talent.
Experience:
· 1 year of recruiting experience preferably in the restaurant or retail industry
· Recruiting leaders in a multi-unit environment a plus.
· Familiarity with a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems.
· 1 year working in a social media centric recruiting environment.
· Hands on experience working in a quick service or quick casual restaurant a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Proven success sourcing candidates using variety of methods (social recruiting, events, military, alumni databases, college partnerships and professional networks).
· Ability to generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates while balancing a high-volume workload, under tight timelines.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills and strong negotiation skills.
· Must have strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
· Professional presence, strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to work independently.
· Excellent listening and assessment skills.
· Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
