  • Responsibilities

    Support Engineering department processes by providing clerical functions which include updating files, composing and retrieving documents, formatting and refining new or existing items, cataloging project-related information, and researching discrepancies to enable the department to concentrate on developing quality design work and completing drawings on schedule.

    · As directed by the engineering team

    o Get updated quotes for various project equipment, enter parts information into the ERP system, and order equipment and materials for projects.

    o Processing Autodesk Inventor mechanical parts to drawings to facilitate the manufacturing process.

    o Developing project nameplate schedules, and ordering according to project schedule requirements.

    o Developing wire-tags and wire-markers schedules, and ordering according to project schedule requirements.

    · Entering miscellaneous information into the ERP system to facilitate the manufacturing process.

    · Tracking material order status, and updating buildings team if required.

    · Assist with development or required state and regulatory documentation.

    · Develop Autodesk AutoCAD final As-built building electrical drawing package based on construction red-line markups.

    · Develop final project documentation, and building technical manuals.

    · Assist buildings division managers & building project managers as needed on a case-by-case basis with any other engineering task as directed.

Operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations).

    · Detail-Oriented — Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when completing multiple assignments.

    · Confidentiality — Ability to assess and maintain sensitive and confidential information obtained through the course of completing assignments (e.g., project-related issues).

    · Office Management — Knowledge of principles of office management including supplies, equipment, forms, event planning, meetings, conferences, etc in order to ensure maintenance of procedural operations and functionality.

    · Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming such as Microsoft Office Business Suite; knowledge of accounting software such as AS400. Inventory Adobe PDF writer.

    · Math Skills - This position requires basic skills (add. Subtract, etc.)

    Required Experience

    ·

    · 5 years of administrative assistant experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, required.

    · 1-2 years of experience working with software and databases such as Adobe, MS Access, preferred. Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

    · 1-2 years of customer service with internal and/ or external customers, preferred.
