  • Responsibilities

    _Purpose:         _

    This position is responsible for facilitating all adds/changes/deletes of material master data for Billerud as it relates to order to cash (OTC) SAP and Manufacturing Executions Systems (MES) OptiVision systems. This person will serve as a facilitator/administrator between customer service, product development, sales & Marketing, production and IT to ensure master data governance, policies and procedures are adhered to.  This person will serve as a contact administrator for master data for the company. This includes customer, consignee, grade, and material additions, duplications, changes and deletions.  In addition, this person will have specific responsibility to work closely with customer service to remove clean up the existing database structure and assist with implementation of standardization programs. 

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Oversee, approve, and administer all material requests for the organization in Workflow.
    • Ensure all material descriptions are standardized and specifications are included; work with production and marketing to assist with updates
    • Audit materials to ensure there is no duplication; facilitate closing out any duplicate materials identified
    • Continually monitor material master content and search out duplicate items and obsolete inventory
    • Coordinate material data in systems to ensure harmonization; ensures systems are synchronized to allow material data visibility across the organization
    • Serve as overall administrator of Billerud’s Material Group Taxonomy
    • Conduct process/system/governance training at various locations (as needed)
    • Deliver ad hoc reporting upon request for master data key metrics
    • Ensure data follows company’s data governance policies/procedures
    • Audits – tracks materials entered into system to ensure data accuracy and terms
    • Reporting – responsible for key audit and KPI metrics
    • Participate in non-routine special assignments as required
    • *This position has the potential to be Hybrid after a specified time due to training

     

    Required Skills

    Minimum Required Experience and Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field or
    • 3 years of relatable experience (IT, finance, sourcing, supply chain).

     

    Travel: Negotiable

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Minimum Required Skills:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
    • ERP basic knowledge

    Preferred Skills:

    • SAP experience and/or
    • Honeywell OptiVision experience, preferred
