    Job Summary: The Client Services Associate is an experienced digital media project manager who supports the execution of each element of a campaign across our five brands. In close partnership  with the CS Manager this position supports all elements of the campaign cycle, including SOWs transitions & kick off notes, management of end to end planning, providing weekly status updates, management of sign off points, KPI monitoring, metric reporting needs, and assistance in check-in/wrap up conversations. The Client Services Associate is extremely detail oriented, is effective in juggling multiple timelines and resource needs, and is skilled in navigation. From inception to completion, this position actively collaborates with key stakeholders to identify creative, establish workflows, assess resource needs, scope and meet timelines, and ensure our digital media campaigns meet project quality standards. The ideal candidate is composed under pressure and resilient to change, service oriented and customer focused, and holds a high attention to detail and organization.

    This is a 1099 Contract which reports directly into the Associate Director of Business Development & Client Services, while partnering closely under a Client Services Manager. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and appropriately assess resource needs for sponsored digital products; including videos, microsites, social media, editorial, and custom-designed assets
    • Establish and lead communications and workflows - both online and in-person - ensuring effective collaboration and exchange of information at every step
    • Assist the CS Manager in translating SOWs and kick-off notes into detailed timelines that forecasts dependencies, asset and resource needs
    • Manage end-to-end planning, execution and daily communication for a portfolio of large/key customers
    • Consistently advocate for projects objectives and Blavity’s vision as more stakeholders are involved, while fostering an environment of innovation and creativity
    • Manage day-to-day escalations and production challenges as they arise by providing strategic direction on how to best execute on time and in scope
    • Contributes to - and sometimes leads - client conference calls, sufficiently preparing beforehand, and ensuring next steps are captured and communicated
    • Coordinate closely both within CS and across Ad Ops, Editorial, Marketing and Video on campaign needs to align on resource availability, and ensure scope, timelines, and protocols are met for delivery
    • Provide weekly updates to the CS Manager, identifying milestones and elevating risks/challenges that may impact campaign delivery
    • Ultimately own the project quality standards and organization of all asset deliverables
    • Monitor campaign performance against customer KPIs to ensure goals are met, recommending opportunities for campaign optimization as needed
    • Regularly provide the CS Manager with campaign performance metrics for reporting needs
    • Support the CS Manager in preparing for check-in and wrap-up conversations
    • Partner with cross-functional teams in co-creating and improving campaign execution processes as Blavity Inc. continues to grow

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a producer/project manager role at either a digital advertising agency, or as part of an in-house creative team for a large brand
    • Other Experience: Experience in successfully developing and tracking: budgets, schedules, and assets for creative production for social, web design, and video projects
    • Education: Undergraduate degree
    • Technologies: Experienced with using Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Asana to convey ideas and compelling stories
    • Other Skills/Competencies: 
      • Ability to handle the stress of multi-tasking and effectively managing multiple high-pressure deadlines. You must be skilled at simultaneously managing at least 5+ live campaigns
      • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate (written form and digitally) project needs and next steps for various types of stakeholders
      • Excellent interpersonal skills in working across several internal teams
      • Highly organized and detail oriented, with exceptional follow-up skills
      • Reliable and composed under pressure with competing priorities
      • Service-oriented in your approach to taking direction and managing clients
