Job Title: Teacher Assistant

Reports To: Lead Teacher

Summary:

The Teacher Assistant is responsible for providing support to the lead teacher in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for education.

Details:

• Contract
• Full-time
• 35+ hours per week
• Assist the lead teacher with lesson planning and delivery
• Help students with individual and group work
• Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help
• Must be comfortable with special education
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and other school staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework in education preferred
• Education Aide Certification or Will get certification during assignment.
• Experience working with children in a school setting
