    Job Summary

    The Blending Associate is responsible for supporting daily blending operations in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the blending room workflow, helps maintain production schedules, and ensures raw materials are blended accurately, safely, and on time. The Blending Associate plays a key role in meeting production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute and support the daily blend schedule to meet production goals.
    • Assign daily tasks to blending staff and temporary workers.
    • Monitor operator performance and progress against production schedules.
    • Assist blenders with staging, scaling, sanitation, and running blending equipment.
    • Maintain daily blending summaries and performance documentation.
    • Coordinate with Production to keep schedules on track.
    • Work with Maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance is completed.
    • Oversee general operations of the blending room.
    • Monitor raw material inventory levels and report potential shortages.
    • Ensure blending areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
    • Follow GMPs, quality procedures, and company policies.
    • Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.
    • Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to formulas.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Up to one year of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of GMPs and Quality Assurance practices.
    • Forklift experience is a plus.
    • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
    • Ability to understand formulas and mixing instructions.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Frequent walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
    • Push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
    • Work performed near moving machinery. ****
