    Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our production team, who will be instrumental in producing high-quality products by accurately weighing, mixing, and documenting ingredients in a cGMP environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Execute Batch Records and Procedures: Follow established batch records and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

    · Ensure Product and Process Effectiveness: Maintain product purity and process efficiency throughout production.

    · Weigh Components: Accurately measure and weigh ingredients for each batch.

    · Correct Documentation: Record pre-weighs and other necessary documentation accurately.

    · Make Pre-Blends: Prepare pre-blends for larger batches, ensuring proper mixing.

    · Complete Scale Checks and Calibrations: Perform daily scale checks and calibrations to ensure measurement accuracy.

    · Monitor Inventory: Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.

    · Complete Paperwork: Manage required paperwork and maintain detailed records manually.

    · Follow Batch Making Sequence: Adhere to the correct batch-making sequence to ensure product integrity.

    · Product Identification: Accurately identify and distinguish between products in production.

    · Sanitization: Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and containers utilized in the product formulation process, following standard operating procedures and maintaining cGMP standards.

    · Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

    Responsibility for Work of Others:

    · No direct supervisory responsibilities, however, must be a team player. Reporting of observation of non-compliance or unsafe situations to supervisor or safety manager required.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    · Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with proficiency in basic mathematical skills (Metric vs. English system)

    · Experience: 1+ years of previous experience manufacturing product formulations and operating manufacturing related equipment (mixing tanks, pumps, homogenizers, etc.) is considered relevant experience and is preferred.

    · Technical Skills:

    o Numerical Skills: Strong ability to perform calculations and handle percentages. Knowledge of metric weight systems conversions and basic arithmetic skills required.

    o Instruction Interpretation: Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.

    o Weights and Measures: Proficiency in measuring and comparing weights.

    o Blending Knowledge: Familiarity with finished and raw blends preferred.

    o Mechanical Experience: Some mechanical knowledge preferred.

    o Quality: Completing all required documents, checklists and forms in a timely, accurate and compliant manner

    · Soft Skills:

    o Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills with all co-workers in the execution of all job functions.

    o Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others.

    o Detail-Oriented: Precision in handling multi-tasking and process improvement.

    o Self-Motivated: Must be capable of performing routine work assignments, multi-tasking and following instructions with moderate supervision.

    o Safety: Commitment to performing duties safely.

    o Overtime: Willingness to work overtime as needed.

    o Multi-tasking: Demonstrate aptitude and capability to perform multiple tasks.

    Preferred Qualification(s):

    · Forklift Operation: Capability to operate a forklift, a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and manipulate, push/pull and roll containers that weigh up to 500 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and crouching is required. Use of foot pedals and typing on a computer may be necessary.
