We are looking for someone who

• Loves scrolling on TikTok and Reels
• Breathes internet memes and gifs
• Isn’t afraid to roast our user base
• Spends their free time thinking about clickbait-y text overlay

If this is you, read on. We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who to help us develop our overall lifestyle brand of social media content and humanizes our company and staff to our large social media following. We aim to increase our frequency of published content, and value raw/authentic footage over highly edited content. The ideal candidate will have great work ethic and be adaptable in response to interaction from our userbase. Your job would include:

• Manage posting on our Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, with a focus on video content
• Brainstorm content ideas—including ideas that have nothing to do with our overall business
• Film content, including our podcasts/twitch streams
• Have a keen eye for what clips have potential to be meme-able
• Talking back to our userbase

Qualifications

• Ability to work normal business hours 9am-5pm Mon-Fri between 20-40 hours a week
• Working knowledge of social media
• You’re into internet humor
• Knowledge of graphic design (photoshop), video editing (adobe premier, final cut pro, or other video editing software), and making short video content (capcut, etc.), writing copy and coming up with hashtags
• Driven, highly motivated, and excellent problem-solving skills
• love of video games is a plus
• knowledge on livestreaming a plus
• College degree (preferred)
• U.S. work authorization (required)

Additional Information

Compensation:

• Base salary of $35-65K annually DOE (based on a FT role; PT also available)
• Eligibility for team-wide goal-based bonuses (varies, but valued at $35K annually in 2020)
