Your Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer (frontend), you will be a key member of the Blink engineering team responsible for development of user interfaces for all Blink’s SaaS applications for for managing a large network of electric vehicle charging stations deployed across the world.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Management, UIX professionals and other stakeholders (business development, sales, etc.) to deliver a high quality products in a fast-paced environment
Architect, design, develop and maintain rich, immersive and responsive user interfaces for SaaS applications in micro-services architecture for the EV industry
Participate in all phases of development, from design to implementation, unit testing, and release
Champion new and cutting edge technologies to enable Blink’s cloud to be scalable
This position requires an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, creative, data driven and results oriented
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent / relevant work experience)
Minimum of 6+ years of software development experience
Deep experience with (but not limited to) JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS and AJAX in highly scalable and available applications
Deep experience with front-end technologies React, Angular, etc.
Strong experience in building responsive UIs
Experience working with RESTful APIs
Experience working in AWS or Azure environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the software development life-cycle in Agile environment
Strong passion for building elegant and well thought out user experiences
Experience building mobile applications a strong plus
Self-motivated, collaborative, proactive and capable of delivering new features in fast paced agile environment
Prior experience in the Electric Vehicle Industry or Energy Industry is a plus
