    Under the supervision of the Director of Product Development and the Product Development team, the Engineering Intern will work with internal departments and with external vendors to support product development activities. The right candidate will be hands on, will wear multiple hats, is keen to learn and is not afraid to take on responsibilities. This position is on-site and requires a technical engineering background.

    Duties / Responsibilities:

    · Firmware testing and lab assistance Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to test new and existing products. Products are tested internally for firmware and software upgrades, electrical and mechanical changes and other tests as required. · Product Support Work with the Support Engineer on regulatory certifications, carrier compliance, and activities related to applications for the certifications · Product Development Support projects from prototype build and verification testing through production launch. Take part in product development activities to launch a high-quality reliable product. Qualifications:

    · Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical, Electronic Engineering is preferred · Possess a good understanding of technical engineering principles and systems

    · Basic understanding of firmware testing and engineering drawings

    · Experience with Microsoft Office

    · Experience with Adobe Illustration is a plus

    · Experience or knowledge in TestRail is a plus

    · Experience or knowledge of 3 CAD design in Solidworks, Catia or NX is a plus

    · Strong oral, written and listening communication skills.

    · Self-starter and goal oriented

    · Combined ability to work independently and interact with people at all levels of responsibility.

    · Ability to be self-motivated and exhibit a high degree of professionalism

    · Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees/management

    · Authorized to work in the United States

    · Prior experience in the Electric Vehicle Industry or Energy industry is a plus
