This is a full-time, salary exempt, leadership position that requires active participation within a team setting. The CLUB Manager is the most vital piece to our management system, designed to focus on various aspects of our business while having a broad overview of the subsequent departments. The CM will be held accountable for their staff’s performance; the CM will also be expected to uphold appropriate accountability of their management team through measurable and regularly scheduled performance reviews in an effort to maintain a growth mindset and deter complacency. The CLUB Manager must always lead by example: providing a warm, engaging, up-beat, passionate, positive energy while serving all Members, Guests, and Teammates throughout the entire club. PRIMARY CLUB MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CLUB Manager will be directly responsible and held accountable for:
Anticipating and exceeding the members’ expectations by providing an unparalleled member experience
Building a winning team of Mood Lifters™ through hiring, training, motivating, inspiring, coaching and evaluating staff.
Being the initial leader to onboard and train all newly hired employees
Perpetually training & developing your team to ensure they embody the qualities of a true Mood Lifter™
Running BSR and management reviews on a regular basis to evaluate team performance and ability to execute expectations
Driving member count and ancillary business revenue to ensure the club is meeting and exceeding their targets.
Providing clear and concise instructions whenever delegating tasks
Reconciling escalated member issues unsolvable by the other Managers
Keeping staff in compliance with State, Federal, & Company policies
Adhering to budgets provided while managing payroll & supply expenditure
Driving the sales of the retail and food and beverage products
Controlling all facility money including deposits and reconciliations
Walking the club floor regularly to evaluate the cleanliness of the facility.
Staying adaptable to the evolving nature of the business
Implementing systems and relative tools that positively impact the staff’s ability to fulfill their responsibilities
Execute initiatives that support the delivery of the Blink Member Experience
Execute initiatives that support the delivery of the Blink Employee Experience
SECONDARY CLUB MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:The CM will support the FLOOR, PT, & SALES Managers in the following:
Assist in driving Personal Training revenue
Partner with the Personal Training teams to guarantee a fully staffed team of productive trainers who are meeting and exceeding their targets.
Assist Sales through successful tour execution and lead generation activity
Assist the Floor by actively executing tasks that directly contribute to the club cleanliness and organization standards
Spend time on the floor and at the front desk make sure we are delivering an exceptional member experience.
Knowing when to refer Members and Guests to other managers
Coordinating with management team to create engaging in-club events and promotions throughout the year
CLUB MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
Leadership experience in an educational, fitness or professional setting.
Minimum (2) years management experience in customer service preferably in fitness
Proven ability to hire, direct, & train team members, to both listen & delegate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess honesty and personal integrity
Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
Current CPR/AED certification (must be current for entirety of employment)
Computer literate on the Microsoft Suite/Google Suite
Must be hardworking, diligent, and organized
Excellent time management, problem solving & follow-up skills
